Gabrielle Walcott Crowned Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2011. She will represent Trinidad and Tobago in Miss Universe 2011 pageant. Gabrielle Walcott was born on June 26, 1984. She was Miss Trinidad and Tobago World 2008 and placed as the 2nd runner-up in Miss World 2008.
The first runner-up was Sheniqua Francis. The second runner-up was Lateesha Hospidalis.

About Her

Gabrielle Walcott (born 1984)
is the winner of the Miss Trinidad & Tobago World pageant in 2008, the Miss World 2008, Beauty With A Purpose winner, Miss World Caribbean, and the 3rd Place finalist of the competition.

She currently resides in Petit Valley, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Gabrielle comes from the Caribbean island of Trinidad, with its amazing turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, colourful tropical flowers and exotic birds. Her dream is to become an actress; she has always loved the arts and has her first degree in Visual and Theatre Arts from the University of the West Indies. After achieving this she took a gap year to help finance her move to the Big Apple, she then moved to New York to do post graduate studies in Acting and Theatre Arts, a friend and mentor once told her that ‘the first degree is for your parents and the second degree for yourself’, she is very proud to have been able to support herself and follow her heart!Gabrielle is currently also one of Trinidad & Tobago’s Youth Ambassadors for the UN. Sports & leisure interests include: equestrian show jumping; yoga; pilates; dance; fashion design/sewing; art; photography; theatre; piano; ballroom & Latin dance; swimming; First Aid (CPR/Life guard training); and has just starting to learn Spanish. She has a deep appreciation for Trinidad’s local cuisine: from roti, to shark and bake, to crab and dumplings, to name a few. Her motto is “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you”.
